Midget Black brings Holiday Joy to our Veterans

On Sunday, December 13th, Several members of the Midget Black team helped many of our Nation's military veterans attend a non-denominational religious service at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Washington DC.

This was the second year in a row that the Midget Black team stepped up to this duty to serve men and women who have served our country. Included in the mix of patients was a 102 year old WWII Army nurse named Alice who is a lifelong Washington DC area resident. She had her leg blown off during a Air raid in the South Pacific and continued in her military service until she retired in 1964.. Let's just say that this woman has a library full of jokes and is very quick witted. She did take advantage of the visitation by the Midget Black team and entertained them with stories and jokes.

The team then retired to Molly Malone's on Capitol Hill for a nice Brunch and to watch a game of Rugby on the flatscreens. A good time was had by all.
